Northern Norway's pearl that has been awarded the world's most beautiful place several times. Imagine the fantastic views that stretch out over the Atlantic and all the mountain peaks of the island in combination with tours and skiing from peak to fjord. Magic!
An authorized mountain guide is with you throughout the week, looking for the best snow conditions for the day, and you get the chance to explore some of the most remote and beautiful places on the island.
Lofoten's peaks are not very high, only in exceptional cases do they rise more than a thousand meters above sea level. Therefore the area is suitable for those who want relatively short tours, but if you are fit and looking for more altitude meters, the solution is simple: we squeeze in two summit tours on the same day. In addition to many easier summit tours, Lofoten also has a large number of chutes and steeper downhill runs for those who want a real challenge.
Included:
• Guiding by authorized mountain guides(UIAGM/IFMGA) for 6 days.
• Loan of avalanche safety equipment(shovel, probe and transceiver).
• Transport throughout the week by minibus incl. diesel & tolls.
• 7 nights accommodation in a shared room(single room possible for an extra fee).
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• An evening at the SPA with sauna and hot tub right by the fjord.
• 16-week training program developed especially for the trip by lic PT.
• Lots of nice summit tours!
Not included:
• Personal equipment (see below).
• Travel to/from Lofoten.
Travel
You can easily fly to Svolvær airport and then land directly on Lofoten. It is also possible to fly or take a train to Narvik and then further by bus or ferry to Lofoten.
Personal equipment
The following is equipment you need to bring on the trip. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us.
• Skis / Splitboard for touring inc. climbing skins.
• Crampons.
• Poles, adjustable with big baskets.
• Boots for touring.
• Ski backpack, approx. 35 L.
• Clothing for skiing.
• Extra base layers and a warming jacket(for example a down jacket or extra fleece to put on when we take a break).
• Extra gloves.
• Sunglasses and ski goggles.
• Sun protection.
